British Embassy in Colombia closed after 'threat'

The British Embassy in Colombia closed tonight following a “specific threat”, the British Foreign Office said.

It will remain shut until the New Year, a Foreign Office spokesman said.

Other embassies in the capital Bogota are also thought to have been threatened.
