Flight diverted to Cardiff after 'disturbance'

Police have been called to a British charter Boeing 737 aircraft which is on the tarmac at Cardiff International Airport having diverted there after crew reported a disturbance on board, aviation sources said.

A passenger jet was forced to land at Cardiff International Airport today after crew reported a disturbance on board, police said.

A South Wales Police spokesman said officers had been sent to the airport following reports of public disorder.
