A man was today remanded into custody charged with murdering his 17-month-old son, British police said.

A man was today remanded into custody charged with murdering his 17-month-old son, British police said.

The man, 37, from Stoke Newington, north London, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Enfield Magistrates after he was charged with murder and cruelty on Friday.
