Thunder storm kills 26 in Sudan

A freak thunder storm has left 26 people, including women and children, dead in Khartoum, state radio Omdurman reported today.

It said 13 people, mostly women and children, plunged to their death on Friday night when the Ferris wheel they were riding at a riverside Khartoum amusement park collapsed during the storm.
