Anglo-American air strikes pound Iraq

British and American aircraft have attacked Iraqi air defence facilities again, defence officials said today.

The latest strike by precision-guided weapons was near Al Amarah yesterday, about 170 miles southeast of Baghdad, said US Central Command.
