Hotel bomb mastermind captured in Pakistan

The mastermind of the Karachi hotel car bomb attack that killed 11 French engineers has been captured, the Pakistan government said tonight.

A statement said the man was among seven Pakistanis arrested in raids early today in the sprawling port city.

”One of the apprehended terrorists is suspected to have masterminded the attack on a bus near the Sheraton Hotel in Karachi” in which the French engineers died.

The car-bomber was among the other dead in the attack on May 8.
