New Zealand: We'll send weapons inspectors to Iraq

New Zealand is ready to send a team of 10 weapons inspectors to Iraq as part of a renewed United Nations effort to monitor Baghdad’s arms build-up, the government said today.

“We have had a request and we are likely to respond to it very favourably,” prime minister Helen Clark said.
