New confirmed sighting of Holly and Jessica

British police say they have a new confirmed sighting of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Hebb says they were seen by someone who knew them outside an Italian restaurant on the High Street in Soham at 7.20pm on Sunday.

Police now know the girls didn't access chatrooms in the 20 minutes they spent on Holly's home computer before they disappeared.

The arrests of two men in connection with the case aren't being treated as significant developments. The men, in their 40s and 30s, were detained for not co-operating with police.

Chief Inspector Hebb has also thrown doubt on whether two girls seen near a garage at 7pm on Sunday were the missing 10-year-olds.

He told BBC News 24 CCTV footage at the garage has been viewed and they're not caught on camera.

He says the reconstruction of the girls' last movements will hopefully "jog memories".
