A dam collapsed in northern Syria today, causing the water to flood several villages.

A dam collapsed in northern Syria today, causing the water to flood several villages.

There were no immediate reports of casualties. The Zeyzoun Dam, built in 1996, is near the town of Idlib, about 220 miles north of Damascus.
