FBI investigates terrorist threat to US banks

The FBI is investigating unsubstantiated information that terrorists are targetting American banks.

Warnings have gone out across the north-east of the US.

The threat is thought to have come from the al Qaida network, and US Attorney General John Ashcroft is taking it seriously.
