Fifty four 'survive plane crash'
Fifty four people are thought to have survived the crash of an Air China jet in South Korea.
A fire department official says they have been rescued from the wreckage of the plane which was carrying 166 people, reports the China Daily.
Kwon Ung says rescue work is still under way.
But officials have cautioned that some of those rescued are in a critical condition in hospitals in Busan and nearby Gimhae.
The paper says the government earlier released a list of 20 people who have been taken alive to local hospitals after the Air China Boeing 767-200 crashed into a foggy mountainside.
It was approaching Kimhae Airport near Busan, South Korea's second largest city.
