Israeli army officer killed by gunmen

An Israeli officer was killed and three wounded when two Palestinian gunmen infiltrated an army training area before dawn today.

The gunmen, armed with AK47 assault rifles, opened fire at short range on a group of soldiers conducting exercises, the army said.
