EU to pave way for more Zimbabwe sanctions

The European Union is expected to lay the ground for further "targeted" sanctions against the regime of Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe.

Foreign ministers at the EU summit in Barcelona are expected to declare that the country's presidential elections could not be accepted as either "free or fair".
