Eight countries are to hold an international exercise to test reactions to a biological, chemical or radio-nuclear terrorist incident amid fears of a further attack by al-Qaida, and Iraq’s weapons capability.

Health ministers from the G7 group of industrialised countries and Mexico met in London to discuss how to improve the preparedness of governments, public health officials and emergency services.
