Palestinians call for peace talks

A prominent Palestinian has called on the Israelis to return to the negotiating table and shut down the 'killing fields' of the Middle East.

Yasser Arafat's chief negotiator, Saeb Erekat, was speaking after Israeli helicopters destroyed the Palestinian leader's office in Gaza City early today.
