Govt rejects Zimbabwe election extension

Zimbabwe’s Foreign Minister has rejected opposition calls to extend the country’s crucial presidential election by two days to enable all those eligible to vote.

Thousands of Zimbabweans resumed voting today in what amounts to a referendum on the 22-year rule of President Robert Mugabe.
