Iraq may return UN weapons inspectors - Annan

UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, has said Iraq appears to be serious about discussing a return of UN weapons inspectors.

Speaking after talks with Iraqi officials Mr Annan stressed the meeting had produced no sign that the country would allow the return of inspectors, to lift 11 year old sanctions.
