China joins growing opposition to US steel tariffs

Chinese officials have revealed that they are considering lodging a complaint with the World Trade Organisation over the US Government’s decision to impose tariffs of up to 30% on imported steel.

US President George W Bush said the tariffs will remain in place for three years in an effort to protect American workers.
