US chopper shot down in Afghanistan

An American helicopter has been shot down inside Afghanistan causing multiple fatalities.

Initial reports say it was brought down by enemy fire in the east of the country, where US-led troops have been bombarding hold-outs of al-Qaida and Taliban fighters.
