Relatives of American passengers who died in the Lockerbie bombing are asking the US State Department to put pressure on Libya to acknowledge it blew the plane up.

A spokesman assured the group the Bush administration would not consider resuming relations with Libya until it accepted responsibility and paid compensation to the victims' relatives.
