Zimbabwe food shortages worsening

The World Food Programme today warned of worsening food shortages in Zimbabwe and a possible halt to emergency aid unless more foreign donors come forward.

The announcement came just over two weeks before a bitterly fought presidential election in which President Robert Mugabe is fighting for his political survival.
