Ending a sensational royal murder trial, a court in Bangkok today jailed the young widow of a Thai prince for six years for poisoning him.

Chalasai Yugala, 29, better known as Luk Pla, (‘‘Baby Fish’’ in Thai), told police she put insecticide in 60-year-old Prince Thitiphan Yugala’s coffee soon after their wedding, so that she could escape the palace.
