China finds spy bugs in US-made plane
China has discovered 27 bugging devices in a US-made jet bought for the personal use of the president, Jiang Zemin.
It is being reported that the small devices were hidden in the upholstery of the Boeing 767, including the president’s bathroom and the headboard of his bed.
The spying devices were found when they emitted static during a test flight after the plane’s delivery in August.
The incident will be raised when US president, George W Bush travels to Beijing for a summit meeting next month.
