Israeli woman killed in West Bank shooting
A woman has been shot dead in the West Bank after gunmen opened fire on an Israeli car.
A second Israeli person was shot in the chest and has been taken to Hadassah hospital.
The shooting took place near a petrol station outside of the Jewish settlement of Givat Zeev.
The passengers in the car were a mother and her daughter but officials have no other details.
The shooting comes just hours after a 72-year-old Israeli-American man was shot dead in his car as he went in search of building supplies in a West Bank town.
That killing was in revenge for a bombing attack that left a Palestinian militant leader dead.
The victim, Raed Karmi, 27, was the leader of the Al Aqsa Brigades, a militia linked to Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement, in the West Bank town of Tulkarem.
The Al Aqsa Brigades have vowed to avenge his death.
