BA flight in smoke alert

A British Airways flight with 120 passengers on board was tonight forced to turn back to Heathrow Airport after a smoke alert.

The Airbus A320, flight BA1452, was travelling from London to Edinburgh when a light went on warning of smoke in the cockpit.
