Three killed in gunfight on Kashmir ceasefire line

Suspected Islamic militants have killed one Indian soldier and wounded four others in a gun and grenade attack on an army post near the Kashmir ceasefire line today.

Two militants were also killed in the gunfight, according to local police. The attack is the latest strike in an escalating dispute between India and Pakistan over the mainly Muslim Kashmir province.
