Smoking during pregnancy linked with diabetes, obesity

New research has linked smoking during pregnancy with diabetes and obesity.

The study by Swedish scientists claims smoking during pregnancy permanently disrupts the metabolism of a foetus, leading to the possibility of diabetes in the baby and a greater risk of obesity by the time it is 33-years-old.
