Suicide bomber detonates explosion in Jerusalem

A suspected suicide bomber has detonated an explosion in central Jerusalem this morning, killing himself and causing a few minor injuries to passing Israelis.

The man, believed to be a Palestinian, blew himself up just after 7.35am, near a hotel on King David Street. The explosion followed two days of Israeli aggression against the Palestinians, with warplanes and attack helicopters striking targets in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
