Two die in Turkish storms

Winds reaching 35mph knocked down a minaret, killing two worshippers as they left a mosque in Turkey, police said today.

Five other men were also injured by the minaret which was one of six to collapse in storms and heavy rain that lashed through many parts of western and central Turkey yesterday.
