At least 40 miners killed in Colombian landslide
At least 40 workers have died in a landslide at a gold mine in western Colombia.
As many as 200 miners were working in a hillside near the town of Filadelfia in Caldas state when they were engulfed by the landslide.
The mine has long been abandoned by its owners, but locals still explore the area in the hope of finding gold.
An unknown number of people are reportedly trapped under the rubble and rescue efforts have begun.
