Mourner killed on way to funeral

A group of mourners on their way to a family funeral have been involved in a fatal crash with a lorry in the Czech Republic.

One male mourner died and 17 were injured, two of them seriously.

Their bus was involved in a head-on collision with a lorry coming near Chrudim in central Bohemia.

One of those injured was the son of the woman whose funeral the group were due to attend.

All the passengers were from the village of Smrcek.
