UN confirms US attack on Afghan hospital

The United Nations has confirmed that the US bombed a military hospital near the northern Afghan city of Herat yesterday, but said it has no information on casualties.

Afghanistan’s Taliban Government announced yesterday that a bomb had hit the hospital, killing 100 patients and staff.
