Migrants drown as ship sinks
More than 350 migrants - most of them Iraqis - drowned when the boat they were on sank off the coast of Indonesia, the International Organisation for Migration said in Switzerland tonight.
The organization said it was looking after 44 survivors who were rescued from the sea a day after the boat went down on Friday morning. There had been 400 people on board, said IOM spokesman Jean-Philippe Chauzy.
