Human stampede kills 11

A human stampede left 11 people dead, including eight children, and injured 25 other people after thousands raced into a bullfighting ring yesterday at an annual festival in Venezuela.

At least 24,000 people crushed into the Plaza Monumental in north-western city of Valencia, 120 miles west of Caracas.
