Suspicious powder found at Schroeder's office
A suspicious white powder was today found in the postroom at German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder’s offices as anthrax fears spread around the world.
The room at the federal chancellery in Berlin was sealed after postal workers discovered the powder around noon, a government spokesman said. He said it was unclear whether the powder had been in an envelope.
