Seasonal flooding in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta has left at least 222 people, including 182 children, dead, according to officials in the south-east Asian country.

Seasonal flooding in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta has left at least 222 people, including 182 children, dead, according to officials in the south-east Asian country.

The floods have inundated 253,000 homes and destroyed rice crops in six provinces, causing an estimated £30m in damage.
