Delta Airlines to lay off 13,000 employees

US airline Delta has become the latest to lay off thousands of workers because of the drop in demand and the rise in costs caused by the attacks in New York and Washington earlier this month.

Delta announced today that it plans to shed 13,000 jobs and cut its capacity by 15%.
