Internet 'dorm' site wins court appeal
An internet company that set up a ‘‘dorm’’ with cameras so subscribers can follow the daily lives of its young female residents can stay in its residential Florida home, an appeals judge has ruled.
The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta overturned a lower court’s decision, ruling that since customers don’t visit the Tampa neighbourhood where the women live and are filmed, the city can’t apply zoning laws banning adult entertainment.
