At least eight killed in Philippine gunfight

At least eight people were killed today in a gunfight between Muslim rebels and Philippine soldiers in the south of the country.

The clash erupted as soldiers were raiding several houses in Marawi to confiscate weapons from suspected members of the Moro National Liberation Front.
