Talks between Pakistan and the Taliban have failed

Talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan’s ruling Taliban have failed, as the Taliban is refusing to hand over Osama bin Laden, the chief suspect for the US atrocity.

A high level delegation from Pakistan met the leaders of the Taliban in Afghanistan this morning in an effort to pressurise the Taliban into handing over bin Laden to the US.
