Cannabis cafe due to open
Britain's first Amsterdam-style cafe selling cannabis is due to open.
The Dutch Experience, based in the centre of Stockport, Greater Manchester, is being opened by its manager Colin Davies.
Police have warned that they will shut the business down if it is found to be breaking the law.
Mr Davies, a multiple sclerosis sufferer who lives in Stockport, achieved notoriety last year when he was pictured offering the Queen a bouquet containing cannabis plants.
The Queen was pictured outside the Lowry Arts Centre in Trafford, Greater Manchester, when she unwittingly took possession of the illegal substance from Mr Davies, founder of the Medical Marijuana Co-operative.
Mr Davies said at the time: "It was a harmless way of trying to bring to the notice of Her Majesty the ludicrous restrictions on cannabis.
"We set up the co-operative to supply sick people who benefit from the therapeutic value of cannabis."
