Wall Street remains closed
Wall Street in New York remains shut for an unprecedented second day as the city’s financial district struggles to cope with the fall-out from yesterday’s attacks.
The New York Stock Exchange, American Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Stock Market will decide later today if they should reopen for business tomorrow.
Analysts are hesitant to predict the effect the tragedy will have on stocks when trading resumes, but most agree it will only add to the market’s already deep-rooted uncertainty.
