The UN War Crimes Tribunal’s chief prosecutor has said she hopes the court’s two most sought-after suspects will be apprehended soon.

Carla del Ponte was speaking after NATO indicated that it knows where former Bosnian-Serb leader Radovan Karadzic and former Bosnian-Serb army commander Ratko Mladic are hiding.

The pair are allegedly laying low in Serbia.

Both have been accused of orchestrating the mass murder of Muslims during the 1992-1995 Bosnian War.
