Macedonian protestors halt peace talks

Macedonian hardliners opposed to equal rights for the country’s ethnic Albanian minority have delayed talks aimed at avoiding civil war in the former Yugoslav republic.

The Macedonians clashed with politicians as they arrived for a special parliament debate today, punching one ethnic Albanian politician in the face.
