150 car pile-up kills one, injures 62 in Spain
One person was killed and 62 people injured when more than 150 vehicles, including three buses, collided in central Spain.
The pile-up occurred when a car left the Madrid-Valencia a highway, 90 miles southeast of Madrid. It is believed the driver lost control when his car entered a patch of fog.
The accident led to multiple collisions and a pile-up involving at least 150 other vehicles.
One Spaniard was killed and five of the 62 injured are in a serious condition.
The size of the pile-up hampered rescue efforts and led to a 12-mile traffic jam.
