British police get new lead in search for missing schoolgirl

British police searching for missing schoolgirl Danielle Jones will search a building site near her home today after receiving “significant” new information about her disappearance.

The site in Grays, Essex, is a few miles from where Danielle was last seen and has a mixture of new and partially built homes on it.

Police have said the search will be meticulous and could take a considerable time.

They have already scoured a number of areas in the search for the 15-year-old, who went missing on June 18th.
