NATO authorises Macedonian disarmament force

NATO has authorised the deployment of troops to collect and destroy weapons held by the ethnic Albanian National Liberation Army in Macedonia.

An initial force of 400 will be sent to the former Yugoslav republic to disarm the rebels following the signing of a peace deal on Monday.
