Families remember Kursk submarine victims
The families of the crew of the stricken Russian submarine, the Kursk, have been remembering those lost in the disaster a year ago today.
118 men died when the submarine went down in the Barents Sea last year.
Relatives placed flowers at a monument erected to the memory of the sailors. Church services were also held all across Russia.
Meanwhile, a costly international operation plans to lift the sunken vessel next month.
