Congressman may face legal action over missing trainee
The family of missing Washington federal trainee Chandra Levy may sue US congressman Gary Condit.
They are considering the tactic to get Mr Condit to take the stand to answer suspicions about his involvement in their 24-year-old daughter's disappearance.
Meanwhile, the Republican has been interviewed for the fourth time by police about the US government intern, who was last seen on April 30.
Washington Police Department says Mr Condit met with officers for several hours but that he provided no further details.
FBI profilers were reportedly in on the meeting and went through a psychological checklist with Mr Condit. The congressman left a meeting of the House Agriculture Committee, on which he serves, for the interview.
The suit won't be considered while the police search for Miss Levy continues.
