Big Bro: Paul 'can't bear' idea of on-camera romp

Big Brother contestant Paul Clarke told his housemates that he could not stomach the idea of having sex on TV.

His comment seemingly scuppers the possibility of him and Helen Adams becoming the first couple on the show to make love.

The close bond between the two had raised the prospect of a romp on the show which producers had been encouraging by turning the house into a cosy love nest for the second series.

Paul has been backing off from Helen over the past couple of days and blamed most of the flirting on her.

He has been concerned about Helen’s boyfriend Gavin Cox, known as Big G, who unknown to the incarcerated pair has actually dumped her while she has been in the house.

Housemates were talking about unusual places for sex and Helen suggested that making love on television would be the strangest.

But Paul told the others: ‘‘I couldn’t.’’

The once lovey-dovey pair are up against each other for eviction tomorrow night, and Paul has already said he thought it would be good for them to ‘‘cool down’’ their relationship.

He has also said it would be best for them to go their own ways.

During the sex chat, Brian admitted that he indulged in a sex act in the toilet of a bar.

‘‘I was in this bar and met this guy who bought me a drink,’’ he said.

‘‘I went to the toilet and when I came out of the cubicle he was there. I was like, ‘Okay’.

‘‘He went to kiss me and pushed me into the toilet. There was no sex, but there was an act committed,’’ said Brian.

The gay air steward has previously told the other contestants competing for the £70,000 prize that he was chatted up on a flight by a former member of the EastEnders cast.
